Research Affiliates Recognized for Thought Leadership & Education at 2024 ThinkAdvisor Luminaries Awards

Award builds on more than two decades of thought leadership in smart beta and asset allocation

The ThinkAdvisor Luminaries Awards honor firms and individuals who are driving innovation and delivering meaningful impact within the financial services industry.

This recognition builds on Research Affiliates' more than two-decade commitment to challenging conventional wisdom and providing valuable insights to the financial community. Notably, this year, “Smart Rebalancing,” authored by Rob Arnott, Feifei Li, and Juhani Linnainmaa, was published in the Financial Analysts Journal (March 2024). The paper builds upon Arnott’s 2005 “Fundamental Indexation” paper, published in the Financial Analysts Journal (April 2005), and is widely regarded as the origin of an investment approach known as “Smart Beta.”

Research Affiliates was also recognized as a finalist in three additional categories for Financial Advisory and Asset Management Firms: the Firm Award for Innovation, which highlighted its Asset Allocation Interactive (AAI) online capital market expectations tool; the Individual Award for Executive of the Year, awarded to Chris Brightman, Partner, CEO & CIO; and the Individual Award for Thought Leader of the Year, presented to Que Nguyen, Partner CIO.
